Design Process:
The forming of the mass was initiated from the axis and lines of the surrounding urban texture. With river Barada crossing the site being a lead player in setting the main lines of the formation.
The curved mass houses the labs function, connecting other buildings with each others.
Considering the historical buildings in the site, and following the lines of the river and the height of the foothill above.

The shape:
The concept design of the buildings comes from the relationship between mass and void as a main principal to create the form where the mass/void proportion shape the final outlook of the buildings.
